What are the awards qualifying criteria?

1. Qualifying

  • Applicant must be the managing keyperson of the business.
    (ie: Owner of Sole Proprietorship; Managing Director of a Company)
  • Businesses applying must be registered under ACRA with a valid Unique Entity Number (UEN).
    (All entity types are accepted for this award. ie: Sole Proprietorship, Private Limited Company, Limited Liability Partnership)
  • Business must be in operations for at least a minimum of 2 years to qualify for this award.
  • Applicant must be managing and the main driver for the business for a minimum of two years.
  • Businesses must ensure compliance with ALL Singapore Government’s regulations.
    (ie: on-time filing of mandatory requirements)
  • Applicant must be free from any proceedings (both civil and criminal).
  • No proceedings filed against the business, director(s) and/or shareholder(s) in the latest two (02) fiscal years.
  • Business and applicant must not be placed under any watch list, blacklisted and/or being barred from any statutory boards, agencies and/or organisations.

2. Management & Entrepreniual Decisions

  • Implementing policies (Internal | Fiscal | Trading) and managing them well.
  • Setting an industry leading standard for the business
  • Demonstrating strong leadership and governance in the corporate setting
  • Giving power to individuals who propel success for the business/industry.
  • Provide qualitative factors of business such as:
    • Business Model
    • Productivity and Innovation
    • Management Practices
    • Management Initiatives
    • Operational Initiatives
    • Departmental Divisions

3. Business Strategy & Impact

  • From strategy to reality: Business should demonstrate the ability of executing their vision and turn it into measurable impact.
  • Maintaining operational excellence through reviewing and tweaking operational structures and processes within the business.
  • Possess proven customer and quality management system within business operations
  • Business and/or brand(s) possess influential presence within the local markets
  • Business should have a structured recovery plan in an event of economic challenges.
  • Clear plans and procedures for regional and global growth
  • Possess the ability to sustain, manages and implement proven risk management strategies

3. A brief write-up on company’s history, primary and/or secondary business activities being offered.

4. Soft copy of company’s latest logo in:

– AI format, full colour

6. Soft copy of company’s latest logo in:copy of photos/images of company’s products and/or services in:

– JPEG-high-resolution format
AI format, full colour
– The Chinese version of company logo (if any).
